URUKA TANNAT MERLOT 2007

TASTING NOTES

Intense ruby red, with complex aromas of red fruits and mixture of spices. Soft and tender on the palate, pleasant and persistent mouth feel. Wine with a good ageing potential, which can be enjoyed since young.

WINE ELABORATION

Manual gathering of grapes. Fermentation at a controlled temperature (26-28 °C) in an open tank wetting the cap with three daily pump overs. Natural malolactic fermentation. Maturing in French and American oak for six months.Estate bottled. Rest period in the bottle during 18 months before market release.
