The Winery

In the heart of the Estate the winery is located surrounded by the vineyards. This location is very convenient specially during harvesting because the grapes are immediately taken to the winery after being picked. Thus, we prevent any harm caused to them by transport and they are left undamaged with all their organoleptic characteristics intact.

Having been founded in 1920, the winery has a rich historical worth. The containers for elaboration and storing are made of concrete. They have been lined with epoxy to keep their utmost hygienic conditions. These kind of containers prevent sudden thermal variation not desired for the wines. We have a refrigeration system of stainless steel plates, which are vital to control the fermentation temperatures avoiding the loss of frutal aromas. The aging of our wines takes place in French and American oak barrels.

Next to the winery you can find its laboratory. It has been recently equipped with the necessary technological devices to evaluate analytically the grapes quality, musts and wines. The processes of bottling and labeling are done in the winery under the strict control of the Winemaker and his team.
